Privacy

What the site keeps and who sees your visit.

Pinpoint Today has no accounts and asks for no personal details. This page says what the site stores and which services see your visit.

What the page keeps in your browser

If you report how many clues you needed, the result is saved in your browser's local storage so the page can count your streak. It never leaves your device and you can clear it in your browser settings.

Visit statistics

  • Umami, run by us on our own subdomain, counts page views and which buttons are used (hint, answer, how many clues, share and Ask AI, by name only, never the answer or your share text) without cookies and without following you across sites. From the address it keeps only where a visit came from (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign and the via tag of a shared link) and the path of the page you came from; other parameters are dropped.
  • Google Analytics 4 may be switched on to see which pages are read and which buttons are used (hint, answer, the how-many-clues buttons with the number you pick, and the share-card buttons; never the answer, a clue or your share text). It uses cookies and sets a client identifier. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland it stays off until you accept in the banner; Cookie settings in the footer reopens that choice.
  • Cloudflare Web Analytics may be switched on; it measures page loads without cookies.

Ads and cookies

The site may show ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show and measure ads. You can manage this in Google's ad settings. Nothing about the answer or hint you open is sent to advertisers by us.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare, which sees your IP address and request details to deliver pages.
